[Important Notice] Adobe DRM Account Services Migrating to ByteBooks
Due to the transfer of operations of the Adobe eBook platform, the original Adobe ID verification service will officially terminate after the end of June 23rd, 2026. It will be replaced by the new platform, ByteBooks, which will provide DRM reading authorization services.

Q : Why do we provide Adobe DRM?
We have observed the concerns and reading habits of many eBook readers. As users purchase more and more eBooks, they worry about insufficient memory capacity on their mobile devices, desire a more secure and convenient way to manage book files, and wish to read without being restricted by internet connectivity. Therefore, to provide users with a better reading experience and protection, we have begun offering the Adobe DRM eBook download service. (Publishers can individually configure whether to allow DRM file downloads for specific books.)
This service is strictly provided for users' personal digital file reading. We prohibit any methods of secondary sharing or distribution of eBook files. Please keep your files secure. In the event of unauthorized transmission, distribution, or copyright infringement, this platform reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the provision of Adobe DRM. Sharing files without legal authorization, removing or altering protections, or bypassing anti-copying measures are illegal acts. Users are strictly advised not to violate any eBook copyright restrictions and to download files only when necessary.
Q : What is Adobe DRM?
Adobe Content Server is a server solution developed by Adobe Systems. It provides PDF digital protection and reflowable EPUB eBooks for Adobe Digital Editions and supported mobile devices.
Adobe DRM protects the copyright of content owners, preventing eBooks from being shared without authorization. Concurrently, it offers an open, cross-platform protection solution, allowing users to complete a one-time verification on their reading system to link with the Adobe DRM software embedded in the book for reading. In addition to reading directly on the web (via browser), Android, iPhone, and iPad devices, files can also be downloaded to a computer for reading . eBooks downloaded from Pubu that are protected by DRM will have a .acsm file extension. .acsm files require downloading additional e-reader software and completing authorization setup before they can be opened and read.
